Another Progress report
Written by Siguršur V. Smįrason

Ok, just a quickie to let you know that I managed to (finally!) finish the remaining admin functions for the elements.  We'll be testing the changes in the next few days and then if all goes well there should be a release some days after that.  So the estimate now is 7-10 days left until release time. That means you'll get a spanking new release to play with over christmas! Yay!

Progress Update

Ok, what have we done for you lately?
I was hoping that we would be ready for a nother release this week, but alas that will not happen.  The release was going to give you a much improved way of creating your own categories and forms to go with them via the admin module.  As it is right now most of it is done.  What is still missing is the elements part (elements are the individual entry items such as distance, duration, etc.).
Other changes in the upcoming release is privacy settings, where the user can choose whether their entries are private or public.
Originally we were going to include a lot more in this release but due to this darn thing called real life we will have to settle for smaller releases for now.
So, as soon as we finish off those fancy element definition and administration features we will rush the version out to the public.

Development member number three!

The enduracelog development team welcomes Nora as team member number three!.  Nora has agreed to become our manual/document writer.  She has already put together a readme for the next release that explains how to modify the component if you want to change the categories or the form for each category.
She has also gone through the entire source code to weed out any displayed text and placed it all in a language file.  So in the next release if you want to translate the component to your language of choice all you have to do is translate the sentences and words in the language file.
