I've started working on a coaching feature, that will allow the admin to designate one or more users as coaches and allows other users to add them as their coach in the preferences. The coaches will be able to see the logs of the users that have them as coaches, even when their log is set to private.
The coaches will also be able to comment on entries, but the comments will only be viewable by the individual user, users listed as friends will not be able to see the comment and neither will guests, even when the log is public. |

I'm not dead! Although I haven't been working on the endurancelog for quite some time now the project is not dead either.
I've been thinking about a total re-write of the component. Since Mambo became Joomla and all that jaz it makes one wonder if a totally standalone program would do better than to always have to rely on so much from a CMS system. If you have any opinions on staying with Mambo/Joomla versus going solo please share them in the forum.
Obviously, either way, the re-write will also entail adding new features and upgrading the display of entered data as well as fixing some old bugs like the week display in the graph component, etc. |

Ok, I've tested it on three versions of mambo (4.5.0.9, 4.5.1b, 4.5.2) and as far as I can tell it works for all of them. So no worries there. So this release includes some bug fixes as well as the unit switching and automatic (and correct!) pace calculation. Do give it a spin and see if you like it! |

Sorry guys, I'm swamped at work so I don't have time to make the install and update packages until tomorrow. On the bright side a new version of the menu module is out. It behaves more nicely now, uses the right item ids and also should display nicer in some templates. |

Just a heads-up for those of you anxiously waiting for something new. I'm planning on a new release early next week that will mostly be bug fixes, but also a couple of goodies. |
